Each fall, Opening Weekend in the Valley brings together friends, families, and neighbors from across the Jim Ned Valley for good food, great company, and a worthy cause. Bunton Roofing Company is proud to once again sponsor this annual event that helps support the Jim Ned Valley Volunteer Fire Department — the local heroes who keep our community safe.
A Jim Ned Valley Tradition
The event, hosted by Broken Diamond Processing in Tuscola, is held each year on the Opening Weekend of deer season — a time that marks the start of fall traditions here in the Big Country. This year’s event will take place on Friday, November 1st at 11 a.m., located at at Broken Diamond at 217 Garza in Tuscola.
Guests can enjoy pulled pork sandwiches and chips, meet with friends and neighbors, and show support for our volunteer firefighters who serve the Jim Ned Valley area year-round.

Broken Diamond Processing is owned by Jacob Bunton, brother of Bunton Roofing’s co-owner John Bunton. The Bunton family is proud to be part of the Jim Ned Valley community — living, working, and raising their families right here in the heart of West Texas.
